PARKWAY CHRISTIAN DROPS OT THRILLER

Parkway Christian’s Tyler Powers poured in 25 points in a boys basketball overtime thriller, but Lutheran Westland eventually came out on top, 5552. Isaiah Harrison added 14 and Nathaniel Harrison scored seven.

Girls basketball COUSINO 50, L’ANSE CREUSE 38

Cousino’s (7-4, 4-1 MAC Blue) DeMaya Asberry scored 15 points with five rebounds and four steals alongside Chloe Sakalas, who poured in 15 points with four boards and two blocks. Kasi Pearson added seven points.

The group effort was enough

to overcome a big game from L’Anse Creuse’s (3-7, 1-3) Allison Tuladzicki, who scored a gamehigh 21 points.

FRASER 59, ROSEVILLE 40

The Ramblers stayed unbeaten at 10-0 and 5-0 in the MAC Gold thanks in part to an 18-point outing from sophomore Alaynah Quinn along with 16-point nights from sophomore Brynn Norbeck and senior Jaida Oxendine.

Roseville dropped to 3-6 and 2-2 in the Gold.

MARYSVILLE 45, CHIPPEWA VALLEY 36

A big game in the middle of the MAC Gold went in favor of the Vikings. Senior Avery Wolters exploded for 31 points to get Marysville (5-6, 2-1) the victory.

Chippewa Valley (5-4, 2-3)

was led by Gracyn Camer’s 12 points.

ROMEO 38, UTICA 33

The Bulldogs (9-3, 4-1) used a diverse scoring outing — eight different players got points — to help them stay in second place in the MAC White. Both Aya Mosley and Lacqui LeBlanc scored eight points — a team high.

Utica (2-10, 2-3) got strong efforts from Vanessa Galovich (15 points) and Sarah Fromm (11 points) in the defeat.

ARMADA 66, NORTH BRANCH 39

Armada improved to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the Blue Water Area with a comfortabl­e win over North Branch.

Four different Tigers scored in double figures, led by Ashlynn Upton’s 16 points. Claire

Snesiak, Sydney Upton and Valeria Ricossa all scored 14. Snesiak was a defensive force, nabbing seven steals.

North Branch was led by Maci Kaake’s 12 points.

DAKOTA 42, PORT HURON 37

Samone Andrews’ 15-point, four-steal performanc­e helped the Cougars (10-2, 4-1) stay at the top of the MAC Red. Timbre Williams had eight points and a team-high 11 rebounds, while Brooklyn Garavaglia added six points, Gracie Maloney had seven points and five steals and Gabby Foster had six points and five assists.

Port Huron dropped to 9-3 and 3-2 in the Red.
