23 Mile Road

23Mile Road between Romeo Plank Road and Card Road in Macomb Township will be closed for the reconstruction of the McBride Drain crossing until 5 a.m. Nov. 14. A detour will be posted. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes. Work includes reconstruction of the existing asphalt road to a five lane concrete road, drainage construction, utility relocation, major culvert crossings and restoration. Project duration through November 2023.

29Mile Road Bridge in Lenox Township

29Mile Road bridge in Lenox Township over Salt River. The road will be closed to thru traffic from Lowe Plank Road to Gratiot Avenue. A detour will be posted. Drivers should seek alternate routes. Project consists of bridge preventative maintenance and approach work. Estimated completion date is Nov. 15.

Chelsea Park, Newcastle Court and Amsbury Drive

Chelsea Park, Newcastle Court and Amsbury Drive between 22 Mile Road and Edinberg Drive in Macomb Township. Traffic will be maintained at all times during construction operations. Project consists of reconstruction nad is part of MCDR’s Subdivision Reconstruction program. Project duration through November 2022.

Hayes Road

Hayes Road in Clinton Township and Sterling Heights from 18Mile Road to Hall Road. Road will remain open to thru traffic throughout the duration of the project, but will be restricted to one lane of alternating traffic at times. Some cross street closures may be necessary. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible. Project consists mill, base repair and asphalt overlay. Project duration through November 2022.

Jefferson Avenue

In Wayne County, westbound Jefferson Avenue from St. Antoine to Griswold will have three lanes open, one closed intermittently through mid-November.

Mound Road

Mound Road from I-696to M-59 in Sterling Heights and Warren. Road reconstruction part of Innovate Mound project. Traffic and business access will remain open during the duration of the project. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible. Project duration is August 2021-24.

Schoenherr Road

Schoenherr Road at M-59(Hall Road) Lane closures will need to be in place on northbound Schoenherr Road at Hall Road. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes. Project consists of pavement repair work. Project duration expected to end mid-November 2022.

M-3 (Gratiot Avenue)

In Macomb County, northbound M-3at Quinn Road will have three lanes open from 7a.m.-6p.m. daily through late January. In Macomb county, northbound M-3at 15Mile Road will have three lanes open 7a.m.-6p.m. daily through late January. In Macomb County, southbound M-3from 15Mile Road to Common will have two lanes open though mid November.

In Macomb County, northbound M-3from 12Mile Road to 14Mile Road will have two lanes open until Nov. 15.

In Macomb County, northbound and southbound M-3from Common Road to 14Mile Road will have two lanes open through late November.

In Macomb County, northbound and southbound M-5from 34 Mile Road to Boardman will have one lane open until late November.

In Macomb County, eastbound M-59from Hayes to Garfield will have the right lane closed from 9 a.m.-3p.m. Monday-Wednesday. In Macomb County, eastbound and westbound M-59from Card Road to I-94will have one lane open nightly from 7p.m.-5a.m. through Nov. 18.
