Groton City Miguel A. Garcia Jr., 51, of 14 Hamilton Ave., Unit 4, was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jalissa Winston, 19, of 58 Brandegee Ave. was charged Friday with third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Brian A. Martin, 45, of 317 Brandegee Ave. was charged Saturday with unsafe backing, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to obey a stop sign.

Groton Town Toni L. Lindsay, 67, of 209 G St. was charged Friday with two counts of third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Craig K. Ponder, 51, of 45 Mechanic St., unit 1, Norwich, was charged Friday with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and breach of peace.

New London Luis M. Guillen, 31, of 24 Grove St., third floor, was charged Saturday with violation of a protective order.

Matthew Riley, 34, of 26 Tilley St. was charged Saturday with third-degree assault on an elderly person and second-degree breach of peace.

Aristides Alvarez, 22, of 291 Colman St., was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Stonington Christopher M. Lusk, 38, of 115 Fowler Road, North Stonington, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Robert W. Rice, 66, of 122 Cross St., Westerly, was charged Saturday with evading responsibility.

Dennis Souza, 62, of 19 School St. was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right and driving without minimum insurance.
