Jethro Tull frontman says he has incurable disease
Ian Anderson revealed he is suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, a disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs, making it difficult to breathe.
“I’m going to tell you something I’ve never told anybody in public before,” the Jethro Tull frontman said in an interview with Dan Rather on “The Big Interview.” “I’m suffering from an incurable lung disease with which I was diagnosed a couple of years back.
“I do struggle. I have what are called exacerbation periods where I get an infection and it turns into severe bronchitis and I have maybe two or three weeks of (it being) really a tough job to go onstage and play.”
Anderson said that he is on medication and has gone 18 months without an exacerbation.
Reality star spent emergency loan on jewelry, lease of Rolls-royce
A reality TV star in Atlanta used an emergency loan from the federal government to lease a Rolls-royce, make child support payments and buy $85,000 worth of jewelry, authorities said. Maurice Fayne, who goes by Arkansas Mo on the VH1 show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” faces a charge of bank fraud, the Department of Justice said. Fayne, 37, is the sole owner of transportation business Flame Trucking.in his application, Fayne stated his business employed 107 people with an average monthly payroll of $1,490,200. He requested a Paycheck Protection Program loan for over $3 million and received a little over $2 million, officials said.
Former soccer star Hope Solo’s dog shot, critically injured
Former U.S. Women’s National Team goalie Hope Solo says she is “heartbroken” after her dog was shot.
“Our magnificent dog Conan,” Solo wrote on Instagram, “is in critical condition after being shot last night. It’s hard news to share, but harder to make sense of such a heinous act.”
Solo, who lives in North Carolina, posted a photo of herself with her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, and her five dogs.
