Longtime central Ohio football coaches Jeff Arndt, Ed Terwilliger and Brian White comprise half of the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association's Hall of Fame class of 2025, the organization announced.

White went 199-58 from 1999-2019 at Davidson, leading the Wildcats to Division I state championships in 2006 and 2009, 12 league championships and five state semifinals. He was an assistant at Desales from 1990-96 before stints at Dublin Scioto (1997) and Groveport (1998).

Terwilliger won 138 games at Olentangy from 1989-2012, leading the Braves to six postseason appearances and a regional runner-up finish in 1999. He played for Ohio University and was an assistant at Glouster Trimble (1979), Westlake (1980-83) and Groveport (1984-88).

Terwilliger has been the Ohio State program's director of high school relations and a recruiting assistant since 2015.

Arndt's 50-year career included seven seasons as head coach at Amandaclearcreek (1974-80) and stops as an assistant at Akron Hoban, Sugarcreek Garaway and Reynoldsburg, but much of his tenure was spent with Ron Hinton at Amanda and Chillicothe. Arndt was defensive coordinator for Amanda's 1999 and 2000 Division V state championship teams, and the Aces were state runners-up in 1997, 2003 and 2004.

Arndt reunited with Hinton at Chillicothe in 2010, spending nine seasons there as defensive coordinator before his retirement.

Larry Kehres (Mount Union), Mike Pavlansky (Canfield, Lisbon and Mentor) and Jim Tsilimos (Carrollton and Lisbon) round out the class.

Kehres turned Mount Union into the nation's top Division III program during a 27-season tenure (1987-2012), guiding the Purple Raiders to 11 national championships and 21 undefeated seasons. He was head coach at Johnstown in 1973. dpurpura@dispatch.com @dp_dispatch
