Daisy Dettra Jolley, age 82, passed away in her home after a short yet courageous battle with endometria­l cancer on Tuesday,

January 5, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 20, 1938 on a farm outside of

Senecavill­e, Ohio. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David B. Jolley; her son, John Jolley; her daughter, Lynn (Kirby)

Clark; her three grandchild­ren, David Clark, Sarah

Clark and Katherine Jolley; nieces, Ellen (Dettra) Kunst and Valerie (Dettra) White; many nephews, countless great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and neighbors.

She is preceded in death

Mamie (Murphy) Dettra.

Also preceded in death by her siblings Edwin Dettra,

Joan (Dettra) Gant, Danny

Dettra, Sam Dettra and her twin brother David Dettra.

Daisy attended Senecavill­e-richland High School and graduated in 1956.

She worked for 10 years at

The Huntington National

Bank and then retired from

Ohio Chemical Services after 25 years. Daisy was an active member of the Faith

United Methodist Church in Canal Winchester, Ohio, and a regular volunteer at the Food Pantry in Canal

Winchester. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, create a homemade card special they are and keep the party going with her wonderful sense of humor and contagious laughter. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Faith
