“Home of the Dead”: Ghost town, hayride at Mystery Dog Ranch in Ringgold

Mystery Dog Haunted Ranch and Hayride is celebratin­g its fourth year in Ringgold. The Ghost Town opens at 7 p.m., where you will experience thrills and chills and once you’ve made it through a hayride will be waiting to take you out over 100 acres.

But watch out: You have embarked on the Headless Horseman’s Haunting Grounds!

Come join us for family fun where you will laugh, cry and scream! One-Eyed Bruce has come back to Homestead and with him he has brought a darkness that has over taken the Town.

Local law enforcemen­t has tried to fight the darkness that has overtaken, but only in vain, as the beautiful Town of Homestead is now the Home of the Dead. Wreaking havoc, One-Eyed Bruce has summoned the Headless Horseman and his Ghost Riders in an effort to destroy Homestead once and for all! Heads will roll!

While visiting Home of the Dead, guests will enjoy movies by the bonfire, ghoulish concession­s and a photo shot where you can get your picture by the “Original” Getaway Car seen in the popular TV Series “Walking Dead!”

The Haunted Ranch also benefits Hozho Therapeuti­c Equestrian Services, a fiscally sponsored 501 (c)3 nonprofit. Hozho provides therapeuti­c services to children and adults with special needs in the Chattanoog­a and north Georgia area.

Mystery Dog Haunted Ranch and Hayride is a family friendly haunt. Admission is $10 which includes a Tour through the Ghost Town and then a Haunting Hayride.
