Three arrested on burglary charges in Ringgold

-

Teague, 45, all of Georgia, were arrested on Sept. 18 on a charge of criminal attempt at burglary, while Lynch garnered an additional charge of driving on a suspended license.

Teague has been released from jail on bond, while Lynch and Mishain remained in jail as of Monday, Sept. 23, after being denied bond.

Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at 34 Sellers Lane in Ringgold about 11 a.m.

“We were told to be on the lookout for a gray van that had just left the residence,” deputy Bobby Persinger said. “I passed the van on Ross Hollow Road, at which time Lt. Roden and another deputy turned around after it.”

After arriving at the residence, deputies spoke with the resident, who stated that Mishain had attempted to break into the home with two other people, reports show.

Mishain was sitting in the driveway claiming he lived at the residence and was allowed to be there, which his mother said was not true.

“His mother came to the door and stated he was not supposed to be there,” Persinger said. “She stated she was sleeping when she was awakened by someone trying to get the front door open by prying on it. She said she saw a white male wearing a white tank top shirt, and that he had several tattoos.”

While Persinger was transporting Mishain to Catoosa County jail, Lt. Rick Allen stopped the gray van along U.S. 41 at Boofer Road and placed Teague under arrest, as well as Lynch, who was out on parole.
