Maurice Francis Coale departed this life on September 11, 2022 at the age of 88. A lifelong resident of Crownsvill­e, Maurice was better known as “Moe” or “Uncle Moe.” Moe was the youngest and last survivor of seven siblings who grew up in Crownsvill­e since its early days. Moe was the beloved husband of Nancy Ann Coale, his wife of 38 years. He was also the loving father of son, Leonard “Rusty” Coale and his wife Debbie, daughter Kimmie Coale, and daughter Lisa Ann (McChristia­n) Sanders and her husband Jeff. Moe was predecease­d by daughter Tracey Lynn (McChristia­n) Milburn. Moe was a loving grandfathe­r of Timothy Wolfe, Jr., Jenna Merenstein, Leah Klippenste­in, Wayne Milburn Jr., Ryan Milburn, and Adelaide Sanders. Moe was also a loving great-grandfathe­r to Bram, Liam and Estelle.

Moe proudly served in the U.S. Army and was passionate in life about cars, trucks, family and music. He was a long serving Deacon at South Shore Baptist Church, where he was also active in the church choir. Moe will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
