Doncic powers Mavs past Raptors, 103-95

TORONTO — Luka Doncic had 27 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds, narrowly missing his 37th career triple-double, Kristaps Porzingis had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and the Dallas Mavericks rallied from an early 14-point deficit to beat the Toronto Raptors 10395 Saturday night.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 13 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter and Dwight Powell and Dorian Finney-Smith each had 11 as Dallas bounced back from Thursday’s season-opening loss at Atlanta.

Oshae Brissett scored 18 points, including the go-ahead inside basket in overtime, as the Indiana Pacers outlasted the Miami Heat 102-91.

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 15 of his 25 points for Minnesota in the first quarter, before fouling out in frustratio­n and being forced to watch the Timberwolv­es hang on for a 96-89 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points, Nikola Vucevic added 15 points and 18 rebounds and the Chicago Bulls beat the Detroit Pistons 97-82.

Rookie Evan Mobley collected 17 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots, helping the Cleveland Cavaliers rally for their first win of the season, 10195 over the Atlanta Hawks.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Ryan Hartman scored with 12.1 seconds left in overtime and the Minnesota Wild extended their season-opening win streak to four games, rallying to beat Anaheim 4-3.

Minnesota has won two straight overtime games and rallied from a deficit in all its wins.

David Perron had three goals and an assist, Jake Neighbours scored his first NHL goal, and the St. Louis Blues beat the Los Angeles Kings 7-3.

Ivan Barbashev, Ryan O’Reilly and James Neal also scored for the Blues. Jordan Binnington made 32 saves as St. Louis won its fourth straight game to open a season for the third time in franchise history.

CHIBA, Japan — Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama held on to a one-stroke lead at the PGA Tour’s Zozo Championsh­ip after a 2-under 68 which included a bogey on his last hole to

make things interestin­g heading into the final round.

Matsuyama trailed by a stroke after the first round, led by one after the second and had a 54-hole total of 10-under 200 on the par-70, 7,041-yard Narashino Country Club course.

Steve Flesch birdied the par-4 18th hole for a 5-under 67 and a twostroke lead over Bernhard Langer and Steven Alker in the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, the first of three PGA Tour Champions playoff events.

Hee Jeong Lim took a four-stroke lead into the final round of the LPGA Tour’s BMW Ladies Championsh­ip after a 7-under 65.

Jeff Winther reclaimed the lead at the Mallorca Open with an 8-under 62.
