Q: Who becomes eligible for vaccines today?

A: Georgians 55 and older and those with a “high-risk condition” as defined by the CDC have been added to the list of those eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.

Q: I’m eligible now. How can I get the vaccine?

A: You can try the state vaccine locator service at georgia.gov/covid-vaccine to find a site near you. In addition, several grocery/ pharmacy chains are offering the vaccine, including Publix, Kroger, Ingles, CVS, Walgreens and Walmart.

One thing to remember: All sites require an appointmen­t. There are no walk-in vaccines available in the state at this time.

■ Asthma

■ Cancer

■ Diabetes

■ High blood pressure

■ Heart and kidney disease

■ Obesity

■ Pregnancy

The state hopes to make all adults eligible by early April.

■ 65 and older, and caregivers

■ Teachers and school staff

■ First responders

■ Health care workers

■ Employees and residents of long-term care facilities

■ Intellectu­ally disabled adults

■ Caregivers of some children with medical conditions.
