1 Music producer charged: Detail, a Grammy-winning producer known for his work with Beyoncé and Lil Wayne, was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with 15 counts of sexual assault and five counts of battery, the Los Angeles County Sheriff ’s Department said. The charges against the producer, whose real name is Noel Fisher, came after at least six women made public allegations against him of rape and sexual assault. Last year, a model and singer won a $15 million verdict against Detail over similar allegations.

5 Adviser dies: Brent Scowcroft, who played a prominent role in American foreign policy as national security adviser to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush and was a Republican voice against the 2003 invasion of Iraq, has died, a Bush spokesperson said Friday. He was 95. Scowcroft died of natural causes at his home in Falls Church, Virginia.
