1 Libya force pushes toward key city:

Officials from Libya’s two rival government­s said fighting erupted Sunday as the country’s east-based forces advanced toward the strategic western city of Misrata, further eroding a crumbling cease-fire agreement brokered earlier this month. The clashes came just hours after the United Nations decried “continued blatant violations” of an arms embargo on Libya by several unspecifie­d countries.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo kept a feud with an NPR reporter alive Sunday, taking to his personal Twitter account to post a Bible quote about lying and slander. The post came a day after Pompeo’s official statement attacking NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly and the media in general after a contentiou­s interview with questions about Ukraine that she said ended with him unleashing an expletive-laced tirade.

4 Kim Jon Un’s aunt makes

appearance: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s aunt, Kim Kyong Hui, appeared in state media on Sunday, the first time she has been seen in public since her husband Jang Song Thaek was executed in 2013. The 73-yearold sat two seats away from her nephew, according to a photo by Korean Central News Agency.

5 Two die in South Carolina:

Two men were killed and at least four others were wounded in a shooting early Sunday at a bar in South Carolina, according to authoritie­s. The shooting took place at Mac’s Lounge in Hartsville, according to the Darlington County coroner, Todd Hardee.
