“Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival” Discounted tickets are on-sale now for the 2018 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival at the Fox Theatre, which kicks off at 10 p.m., Friday, July 27 with a 50th anniversary screening of the cult-classic “Night of the Living Dead.” The event will include special guests, food and drink specials, a zombie costume contest and zombie makeovers for $5-$10 cash. “Deborah Roberts: The Evolution of Mimi,” Catch the final days of this original exhibition, which closes Saturday, organized by the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art. It features more than 50 collages, paintings, and handpainted serigraphs designed to encourage conversations about girlhood, vulnerability, body image, popular culture, self-image, and the dysfunctional legacy of colorism. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Mon - Thurs., 12 - 4 p.m, Saturdays. “Nothing to Lose” Plaza Theatre is screening “Nothing to Lose,” a film that shares the little-known story of Edir Macedo, the man who faced Brazil’s public authorities and rose to become a major leader in the country. The film is based on the best selling trilogy novel which sold more than seven million copies around the world.
