Metro Phoenix's priciest home sales this week closed in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Phoenix's Arcadia neighborho­od. Resort-style back yards were a popular amenity with buyers.

$9,500,000

A Delaware LLC called TPP836 bought a 10,559-square-foot mansion in north Scottsdale’s DC Ranch. The house, with six bedrooms and 71⁄2 bathrooms, comes with walls of glass, a theater and large game room. It was remodeled in 2019. An LLC called Jason 13, led by Merrill Lynch Private Wealth adviser Jason Weese, sold the home.

$4,500,000

Jack Popoff purchased an 8,369square-foot Paradise Valley house with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It has a barrel-vaulted herringbon­e brick kitchen ceiling, retractabl­e glass walls and a resort-style backyard with two cabanas. Candleligh­t Property Holdings of Wisconsin sold the mansion. Joan Levinson of Realty ONE Group had the listing.

$4,300,000

A Spanish-style estate with views of Camelback and Mummy Mountains in Paradise Valley was bought by Peggy Rostan. The 7,437-square-foot house has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, Italian hand-edged marble tile, outdoor entertainm­ent area with fireplace, two offices and full butler’s pantry. Alan Garner of Jackson, Wyoming, sold the house.

$3,900,000

Bevma LLC led by Jen Leahy paid cash for a 6,393-square-foot house in north Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community. The Santa Barbara-style house, with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, has French oak flooring, a kitchen with three ovens, walk-in wine cellar and a spalike bathroom with steam shower, juice bar and two water closets. Denton Patterson was the seller.

Mikaela and Willem Verstraete purchased a 7,000-square-foot house in Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborho­od. The house, with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, also has a master suite with fireplace and steam shower, two laundry rooms, a casita, family room with 29-foot ceiling, gourmet kitchen and glass wall to a resortlike backyard. Gary Shaw and Shannon Downs, owners of Arcadia Management, sold the house.
