We need to rebuild Houston, not waste our money on Trump’s wall

Both political parties obligated to their wealthy donors, offer us nothing as our jobs still go overseas, despite Trump’s photo ops at Collier (County, Fla.).

The president has packed his cabinet with Wall Street billionair­es and multimilli­onaire CEO’s, vowing to reduce taxes on corporatio­ns and the wealthy, doubling down on trickle-down economic theory.

Once again American workers have voted against their own interests. Fooled again by a political system of, for and by the wealthy, we’ve lost faith in the American dream and we have lost all hope that we’ll ever return to the life styles we once enjoyed.
