Cheers & Jeers

-

JEERS:

To the genius who put a stop sign at the foot of the Texas viaduct. Ought to work well in icy weather. Must be the same one who put the end of the viaduct in front of the train tracks. Why not just put the end in automobile traffic downtown and let the homeless bicycle parade go one and on? Also Jeers to the Arkansas side. Now that you have changed the name of landmark park, can the Texas side use it to name the real Hobo Jungle downtown? Or how about the Hobo Jungle Library? Thanks to all at City Hall.—C.D.L., Texarkana, Texas

JEERS:

School has started and Woodland Road (Texarkana, Ark. ) has become a race track again.. We need help to slow down the traffic. Worst times are 7 to 8 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m.—M.R.N., Texarkana, Ark.
