George Burton Foster, age 74, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center. He was born to Lillard and Pauline (Smith) Foster in Lewisville, Arkansas on June 22, 1940. Mr. Foster attended The First United Methodist Church in Lewisville. He was a retired Electrical Technician. He served our country in the United States Navy. Mr. Foster was an avid Razorbacks fan and loved sports. His passion for sporting activities brought him to be involved with coaching softball and baseball for some 25 years. He also held the position of Baseball League President for a time. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and will be missed by everyone that shared in his life.

Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeb Foster and a daughter Diana Payne.

He is survived by his wife Maria of the home, a son, Kyle Foster of Walden, Arkansas and two daughters, Patricia Barton and Jeana Clark and husband Douglas all of Lewisville, Arkansas. He also leaves a son-in-law, Jacques Payne of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Six grandchild­ren are left to cherish his memory and they are, Amber German, Corey Shumate, Clint Smith and wife Crystal, April Phillips, Destiny Clark and Grace Clark. Numerous great grandchild­ren survive him.

Funeral services for Mr. Foster will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.in the A. O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, Arkansas. A visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Service under the direction of A. O Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas.
