Rockets, Tigers post no-hit combos

Auburn 7, Southbridg­e 0: Lorenzo Santos-Diaz struck out 10 in six innings, and Connor Gardell pitched a clean seventh for the combined nohitter for the host Rockets (6-5). Auburn's Cam McLaughlin and Kyle McLaughlin each knocked RBI doubles.

Littleton 10, Lunenburg 0: A pair of Jacks, Redmond and Horton, combined on a six-inning no-hitter and struck out 11 as the host Tigers (4-3, 2-2 Mid-Wach C) overwhelme­d the Blue Knights (2-8, 1-5). Littleton's Teddy Hunt was 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs.

Oakmont 9, Quabbin 1: Ben Forbes hit a three-run triple, Jake O'Day doubled twice, and opening pitcher Will Gage and Ty Curtis also had two hits each as the host Spartans improved to 10-0, 6-0 in Mid-Wach C. Aiden LaPointe had the only hit for the Panthers (3-6, 0-5).

Clinton 2, Tyngsborou­gh 1: Brian Silvester allowed six hits, struck out six and collected two hits as the visiting Gaels (8-2, 5-1 Mid-Wach C) edged the Tigers (3-7, 2-2). Teammate Aidan Green also had two hits. Ryan Wall was 3 for 3 for Tyngsborou­gh.

Leominster 4, Chelmsford 0:

Angel Baez struck out nine and hurled a two-hit shutout, while also adding a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning to boost the host Blue Devils (8-1) to their eighth straight win.

St. John's 8, St. John's Prep 2:

Noah Basgaard (2 RBIs, 2 runs) belted a homer to lift the Pioneers (10-3, 5-1 Catholic Conference) at home.

Wachusett 4, Westboroug­h 2:

Travis Laidlaw hit a pair of RBI singles, and Matt Moreno tossed a four-

hit complete game as the Mountainee­rs (4-5, 2-3 Mid Wach A) knocked off the Rangers (4-7, 2-2) in Holden. Ben Domineck was 2 for 3 for Wachusett with a run and RBI. Marco Micucci knocked in both of Westboroug­h's runs. while Joe Marino singled and scored.

Nashoba 9, Hudson 1: Carter Provost struck out nine, Justin Ethier was 3 for 4 with an RBI, and Dan Guidin was 3 for 3 with two RBIs to propel the host Wolves (4-6, 4-3 Mid-Wach B). Caelen O'Brien went 2 for 3 for the Hawks (6-5, 2-4).

North Middlesex 6, Shepherd Hill 4: John Sappet, Brady Reardon and Cameron Haley each had two hits for the visiting Patriots (9-3, 7-0 Mid-Wach B), who scored four runs in the fifth inning and two in the eighth to top the Rams (5-3, 3-3). Shepherd Hill's Garrett Lucht struck out 10 in his six-inning start.

Douglas 9, Blackstone-Millville 0: William Hogan pitched a four-hitter and had two hits, an RBI and two runs as the visiting Tigers (5-4, 3-2 Dual Valley) blanked the Chargers (2-9, 0-6). Josh Farrell had two hits and three runs, and Owen Gray had a hit and 2 RBIs.

Nipmuc 12, Sutton 0: Joshua Giancola (3 for 3, 3 RBIs) and Anthony Ruggiero (2 for 3, 3 RBIs) homered, and Cam Allen allowed just two hits in five innings for the host Warriors (6-4, 4-1 Dual Valley). Dan Palmer and Emmet Hare had the hits for the Sammies (4-7, 1-4).

Worcester Academy 7, Winchendon 6: Liam Daly was 3 for 4 with a triple and RBI, and Dushyant Singh also tripled and drove in two runs to spark the visiting Hilltopper­s (8-5).

Millbury 11, David Prouty 1: Matt Ramsdell had a single, triple and three RBIs, Bryson McCarthy collected two singles and two RBIs, and Ryan Nikiforow added a single and drove in two runs to propel the host Woolies (8-3,

4-3 SWCL C). Dylan Monette had two singles and a run for the Panthers (0-12, 0-9), and Jett Reilly doubled and delivered a run.

Uxbridge 5, Tantasqua 1: Aidan Blood went 2 for 3 and scored three times, and Liam Kaferlein also had two hits to lift the host Spartans (10-1). Joe Amaru didn't allow a walk or earned run for Tantasqua (7-3), which committed seven errors and has lost three straight.

Northbridg­e 10, Quaboag 0: J.P. Bolduc hurled one-hit ball in the fiveinning game while striking out six, and Brady Hubert (3 for 4, double, 3 runs) and Avery Sabourin (2 for 2) each drove in three runs for the host Rams (10-1). Jack Morgan had the hit for the Cougars (4-6).

Grafton 12, Leicester 0: Ty Cass went 2 for 3 with a triple and drove in three runs, and James Tindall allowed just two hits over five innings while boosting the host Gators (8-4).

Oxford 5, Bartlett 0: Alex Paradise threw a four-hitter while striking out eight, and Cody McDonald drove in two runs for the host Pirates (6-6).

AMSA 11, Worcester Tech 3: Trevor Petty had three hits, and Anthony Skillings and C.J. Skowronek each drove in two runs for visiting AMSA (5-3, 4-1 Colonial). Ahmed Ortiz had the hit for Worcester Tech (5-6, 1-3).

Tahanto 5, Ayer-Shirley 2: Cam Wester's two-run double in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the host Stags (8-2, 7-1 Mid-Wach D) over the Panthers (8-2, 7-1). Tyler Crawford struck out 11 over six innings for Ayer-Shirley.

Narraganse­tt 7, Gardner 5: Joseph Pineyro struck out 10 and had three hits to boost the host Warriors (4-5, 3-4 Mid-Wach D). Camden Gamache collected two hits and scored two runs for the Wildcats (1-9, 0-8).

Maynard 5, West Boylston 0: Max Mandler allowed one hit and struck out nine as the host Tigers (5-3, 4-3 Mid-Wach D) blanked the Lions (4-6, 3-4). Liam Lawton hit a two-run single, and Damon Clark went 2 for 3 with an double and an RBI.

Bromfield 13, Murdock 0: Isaac Xu struck out eight and went 2 for 4, and Brady Quirion was 2 for 3 with a double and three runs as the visiting Trojans (6-3, 6-2 Mid-Wach D) blanked the Blue Devils (0-8, 0-7).

Keefe Tech 15, North 5: Jaxson Fertel had three hits and two runs to propel the visiting Broncos (3-5). Benis Pascual hit a three-run double for the Polar Bears (0-11).

Baseball

Nichols 7, Wesleyan 3: Ben Jerome, Andrew Croteau and Liam Flynn each drove in two runs as their host Bison (29-9) won their eighth straight by topping the Cardinals (21-11). Nichols can reach 30 victories Sunday in their home doublehead­er against Wheaton to finish the regular season.

Keene State 9, Worcester State 2: Kevin Doyle went 3 for 5 with an RBI double for the visiting Lancers (8-25) in a loss to the Owls (18-20).
