Many of the drive-thru test sites are available by appointmen­t only, and all sites depend on the availabili­ty of test kits.

Broward County

Fort Lauderdale: A testing site will open on April 30, in Holiday Park, 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive. To be tested, patients must have a written script by a physician and present a photo ID. Testing hours are 9 am. to 6 p.m. To schedule an appointmen­t call 800-209-7919.

Lauderhill: Broward Health has opened a second drive-thru testing site at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium at 3700 NW 11th Place. To be tested, patients must pre-register for scheduled appointmen­t times. No walk-ups or drive-ups can be screened or tested. To schedule a time to be tested, patients must have a written script from a physician and then call the Broward Health line at 954-320-5730 to register. If someone does not have a primary care physician and needs assistance, they can call 954-320-5730 to speak with a nurse.

Pembroke Pines: Memorial Healthcare, the Florida National Guard and the Florida Department of Health staff a multi-lane mobile coronaviru­s test site at C.B. Smith Park’s park-and-ride lot, 900 N. Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines. Patients must be in a car and show a valid ID. The site is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Priority will be given to health care workers, first responders and people 65 and older, but testing is open to all South Florida residents 18 years and older. People who tested positive can also begin scheduling second tests after 14 days of receiving their results. Make a reservatio­n at 954-276-4680.

Pompano Beach Broward Health has re-opened a drive-thru testing site at 2900 W. Sample Road behind the Festival Marketplac­e. To be tested, patients must pre-register for scheduled appointmen­t times. To schedule a time to be tested, patients must have a written script from a physician and then call the Broward Health line at 954-320-5730 to register. If someone does not have a primary care physician and needs assistance, they can call 954-320-5730 to speak with a nurse.

Weston: Cleveland Clinic Florida has opened a drive-thru testing site at Cleveland Clinic Weston’s Krupa Center, 3250 Meridian Parkway, Weston. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call the Cleveland Clinic Florida appointmen­t center at 954-659-5951 for screening. Potential patients are screened by a nurse. Anyone who exhibits symptoms of the coronaviru­s can be tested at this location.

Palm Beach County

Belle Glade: Drive-thru tests for COVID-19 are now available outside of the Primary Care Clinic at Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade. Testing also is available on a walk-up basis for anyone who wants to be retested. The site is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Testing is open to individual­s of any age, and they do not need to be symptomati­c. Results are communicat­ed by a Health Care District provider as soon as they are available. For more informatio­n call 561-642-1000.

Delray Beach: Drive-thru testing is available at the South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Road. Pre-approval and an appointmen­t are required, which can be made by calling 561-804-0250. The phone lines will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone 16 and older can call for a screening interview. Testing and scheduling will be done by Cleveland Clinic Weston, through a partnershi­p between the hospital, county and Florida Division of Emergency Management.

West Palm Beach: The Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s primary test site is at the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, 5444 Haverhilll Road, West Palm Beach. Tests are done by appointmen­t only. Call 561-642-1000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a prescreeni­ng interview and to set up an appointmen­t. Results should be available in 48 to 72 hours and operators will be available to assist in English, Spanish and Creole.

Miami-Dade

Aventura: First responders and people 65 or older are given priority at this appointmen­t-only testing site. The drive-thru is located inside the Aventura Mall north parking garage, near the Apple Store. 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura. Open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointmen­t at covidavent­ura.com.

Coral Gables: Coral Gables residents can be tested in the city’s municipal parking lot on LeJeune Road at Greco Avenue. Priority will be given to seniors aged 65 or older who have symptoms or underlying health conditions, followed by residents younger than age 65 who are symptomati­c or have underlying health conditions. Appointmen­ts must be made through the city’s online portal.

Hialeah: Free drive-thru testing is available at Amelia Earhart Park to people aged 65 years or older who are experienci­ng symptoms of COVID-19. Appointmen­ts are required. No walk-ins, mopeds, or bicycles are permitted. Testing will take place at the rotunda near the entrance, 401 E. 65th St. Testing is available Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointmen­t only. Call 305-268-4319.

Miami: A drive-thru test site is available in the west parking lot of Marlins Park in Miami-Dade County, 501 Marlins Way. Anyone age 18 or older who is experienci­ng symptoms can be tested. Only one other person is allowed in the car with the patient; that person also willbe tested to check for potential spread. Appointmen­ts are required; call 305-499-8767.

Miami: The city of Miami has opened a drive-thru testing site in Charles Hadley Park, 1350 NW 50th St. Testing is by appointmen­t only, and interested Miami residents must call 305-960-5050 to request an appointmen­t. Testing is provided daily beginning at 9 a.m.

Miami Beach: MedRight Urgent Care has opened a drive-thru testing site at 4621 Collins Ave., adjacent to the Eden Roc Hotel. The site is open Sunday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must be pre-approved by a doctor and make an appointmen­t by calling 305-735-3909. There is no age limit.

Miami Gardens: The state of Florida is operating a drive-thru testing site in the east parking lot at Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens. It is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. until resources run out for the day. Results take about three to five days. People with underlying conditions can get tested, regardless of whether or not they are showing symptoms. People who have been in contact with someone else who has tested positive can also be tested, whether they are symptomati­c or not, along with first responders and healthcare workers.

South Dade: Miami-Dade County is operating a drive-thru test site at South Dade Government Center, 10710 SW 211th St., Cutler Bay. Testing is available daily for anyone aged 18 years or older experienci­ng symptoms of COVID-19. Retesting is offered for individual­s who received a positive test result and were tested more than 14 days previously. Appointmen­ts are required. The call center is open from 9 a.m. until appointmen­t slots for the next day are filled. To make an appointmen­t call 305-499-8767.

West Miami-Dade: Testing is available at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fairground­s at 107th Avenue at Southwest 20th Street. Tests are available to anyone age 18 or older who is experienci­ng symptoms associated with COVID-19, by appointmen­t only. Three hundred appointmen­ts are available each day. The call center opens at 9 a.m. and will schedule appointmen­ts for the following day until all of the slots are filled. Call 305-499-8767.

WALK-UP

For those who don’t have cars, there are options for testing.

Delray Beach: The Health Care District of Palm Beach County will begin scheduling appointmen­ts on May 1 for a new walk-up COVID-19 testing site in Delray Beach. Beginning Monday, May 4th, medical staff with the Health Care District’s C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics will begin testing patients at the Delray Beach clinic at 225 South Congress Avenue. Residents can call the Health Care District’s Testing Hotline, 561-642-1000 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to be scheduled for an appointmen­t.

Fort Lauderdale: Broward County is operating a walk-up testing site just outside the city of Fort Lauderdale at The Urban League headquarte­rs, 560 NW 27th Ave. The county will provide 200 tests daily to Broward residents. Jupiter: The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is operating a walk-up testing site at 411 W. Indiantown Road. Testing is free and open to individual­s of any age who do not need to be symptomati­c. Results are communicat­ed by a Health Care District provider as soon as they are available. North Miami: Miami-Dade is operating a walk-up testing for residents who are experienci­ng COVID-19 systems at Holy Family Catholic Church, 14500 NE 11th Ave. Appointmen­ts are required. The appointmen­t line opens daily at 9 a.m. and closes when all slots for the next day have been booked. Testing is available for up to 150 people per day. Call 305-499-8767.

Pompano Beach: Broward County is operating a walk-up testing site at Mitchell Moore Park at 901 NW 10th St. in Pompano Beach. The county will provide 200 tests daily to Broward residents. Riviera Beach: Palm Beach County plans to open a walk-up testing site at Wells Recreation Community Center at 2409 Avenue H West on May 2. The county has not announced hours of operation.

IN-HOME

Coral Gables: Coral Gables Fire-Rescue offers at-home testing for seniors and homebound residents with disabiliti­es who are aged 18 or older. Call 305-460-5401 to schedule.

Miami: City of Miami Fire Rescue is offering free in-home testing to homebound seniors aged 65 or older or anyone over 18 with disabiliti­es. For more informatio­n, call 305-499-8767 to schedule

Miami Beach: Miami Beach residents over the age of 65 who are experienci­ng symptoms but are homebound may call to request a COVID-19 test to be performed at their home. Residents must first make an appointmen­t by calling 305-604-2489 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
