AROUND TOWN ANNOUNCEMENT POLICIES
The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. Announcements should be submitted via e-mail to life@starkvilledailynews.com by 2 p.m. the day prior to publication and be no more than 50 words in length. Religious events will be listed Saturdays on the Faith page. Recurring events will run in Around Town on Sundays only. One-time events will run as usual in Around Town Monday through Friday.

◆ Alcoholics Anonymous — Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet every Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
◆ Casserole Kitchen — The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection hosts a casserole kitchen every Saturday at Parish hall at 11:30 a.m.
◆ On the Grill at Parker-McGill — Parker-McGill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a weekly “On the Grill” every Saturday. Free food will be provided and visitors can meet the Parker-McGill staff
◆ Integrated Arts Workshop — A workshop on paper cutting will be taught by Noxubee Refuge's Artist in Residence, Gillian Furniss, at the Refuge Visitor Center on July 1 from 9 to 11 am. The workshop is open to the pubic. Call 323-5548 for more information
◆ Triangle and Tribulations — Triangle and Tribulations, the 2017 Summer Scholars musical comedy will be presented - free of charge - in McComas Theatre on the MSU campus on June 30 at 7:00 p.m. and July 1 afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The program is appropriate for

◆ Walking Trail—Adaton United Methodist Church has established a quarter-mile walking/jogging trail near the church, located at 303 Reed Road., West-Starkville. The path is accessible daily from dawn to dusk. No pets or wheeled vehicles allowed on the trail
◆ Prayers with the Songs of Taize—Prayers with the Songs of Taizé is held at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection the first Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. The service includes candlelight, singing, prayers, readings, periods of silence, and lasts about 45 minutes
◆ Starkville Healing Rooms—Starkville Healing Rooms meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Mondays at the Sportsplex.
