Dominick Carmine Iozzo

-

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dominick Carmine Iozzo, 96, of Stamford, CT; beloved husband of Marie (Zegarelli) Iozzo; and loving father of Donna Marie Iozzo of Old Greenwich, CT. Dom and Marie enjoyed 71 beautiful years together.

Born in Tuckahoe, NY to Gregory and Carmela Iozzo, Dom was the youngest of four children. After graduating from Tuckahoe High School, he served in the US Navy during World War

II as a photographer, and later worked as a professional photographer for a few years. He then worked for Teleregister in New York City and in Stamford, CT. While at Teleregister, he attended New York University and earned a degree in Business Administration. He also worked for Bunker Ramo and ADP as Director of Real Estate and Facilities. After retiring from ADP, he had his own consulting business for several years.

Besides his love of family and his strong faith, he enjoyed golfing, playing cards with his friends, and watching Yankee games with his daughter. He was always very generous with his time and eager to help his family and friends with their household projects.

Dominick leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, whom he loved dearly, and so many good friends. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Iozzo and his wife Ginny Iozzo, his sister Angelina Taddeo and her husband Michael Taddeo, his sister Philomena (Fay) Aulicino and her husband Michael (Rudy) Aulicino, and his brother-inlaw Frank Zegarelli and his wife Mary Zegarelli. He will be missed by all.

His Family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8PM at The Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main Street, Eastchester, NY. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Immaculate Conception R.C.
