Holiday meal boxes benefit families in need
Community Classroom Kitchen, part of the Community Classroom Project, is offering a chef-curated meal box for the holidays, which will run through the end of January.
With each meal box purchased, a family in need will receive one as well.
Community Classroom Kitchen’s Executive Chef Blake Malatesta created an easy-to-make seasonal family meal. Boxes can be purchased for individual meals and baking or for weekly meals and includes easy recipes and step-bystep directions from Malatesta.
“Don’t just buy your favorite family a fabulous holiday dinner this year. Feed a family in need, too,” Ali Kaufman, founder of the Community Classroom Project, said in a statement. “This holiday season, we’re all staying home for dinner more. Here’s a way to get or give an amazing meal while helping others.”
Community Classroom Kitchen is partnering with the Milagro Center and the Achievement Centers for Children & Families, both Delray Beach-based nonprofits that serve families throughout Palm Beach County.
Community Classroom Kitchen is an initiative of Community Classroom Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing family engagement in learning and reducing school-related stress for students, parents, families and educators.
The facility is currently under construction on the Space of Mind campus in downtown Delray Beach and will serve as a teaching, catering and commissary kitchen.
