Queen of the South
Most of the main cast members are expected to return as this English-language adaptation of a hit telenovela returns for its fifth and final season. Most fans, however, probably will be focused primarily on James Valdez (Peter Gadiot), who reappeared in the closing moments of Season 4, badly injured yet bearing a dire warning for Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga), the titular “queen of the south.” Additional story details are scant, but Season 5 reportedly will focus on a feud between Teresa’s drug venture and Russian gangsters.
