Jennifer Garner just teased the second season of “The Last Thing He Told Me” on social media during a recent trip to San Francisco.

On Thursday, July 18, the actress shared photos on Instagram from her visit for her 16.3 million followers, showing off views of the Ferry Building and the bay, a treat from Acme Bread and more. The post has since earned more than 272,000 likes — and counting.

Gardner was in town attending meetings and tastings for her Berkeley organic snack company, Once Upon a Farm, which she co-founded with Bay Area entrepreneur John Foraker in 2017.

“A few days of @onceuponafarm meetings in San Francisco left me excited for the future … (and dreaming of Hannah Hall),” she wrote in her caption, referring to her character from the Apple TV+ series, which was filmed in the Bay Area.

Set in Sausalito, the show, based on the novel of the same name by Laura Dave, was renewed for a second season in March following its debut in April 2023. The drama follows Garner’s character after her husband, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, mysteriously disappears. The Houston native serves as an executive producer on the show along with Stanford alum Reese Witherspoon.

While the second season’s cast hasn’t been announced yet, San Francisco native Aisha Tyler, who starred as Jules Nichols in the first season, may make a return.

Garner and ex-husband Ben Affleck made headlines last week when their oldest daughter, Violet, decided to speak at a Los Angeles City Council meeting about ending mask bans.

The 18-year-old delivered a passionate speech calling for an end to mask bans in medical facilities and government buildings, and revealed that she had contracted “a post-viral condition” in 2019.

Affleck, who was born in Berkeley before moving to Massachusetts, has also been in the news recently following rumors of a divorce with Jennifer Lopez, whom he married in 2022. The two had a whirlwind rekindling a few years ago, which Lopez delved into in her most recent album, “This is Me… Now,” which featured the track “Dear Ben Pt. II,” a follow-up to her 2002 song “Dear Ben.” It also included an accompanying musical film that was packed with weddingthemed visuals.

The couple recently listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million only a year after buying it, further stirring rumors of a split.
