Spotlight on linebacker Dre Greenlaw: “Big Play Dre” returns to the scene of his biggest play in a game with similar stakes. He stopped tight end Jacob Hollister inches from the end zone to seal the 2019 regular-season finale win that secured the NFC West title. Three years later, Greenlaw arrives on a big-play streak: He had an interception in Sunday’s win against Tampa Bay after his fumble recovery for a touchdown in a victory against Miami. Greenlaw, who has a team-best 103 tackles, will be key to containing a Seattle running game that will welcome back Kenneth Walker III after a one-game absence because of an ankle injury. The rookie second-round pick has 647 yards, is averaging 4.7 yards a carry and has nine TDs.

Injury notes: 49ers — QB Brock Purdy (oblique, rib), DE Kerry Hyder (ankle) and CB Ambry Thomas (ankle) are questionable. Seahawks — DT Al Woods (Achilles) and RB DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are questionable.

• Seattle QB Geno Smith has thrown for 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions and has a 106.8 passer rating, which ranks third in the NFL. In a 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 2, Smith didn’t have a TD pass, tossed a pick and had a season-low rating (80.1).

• The 49ers have outscored opponents 80-14 in the second half during their six-game winning streak.

• Seattle wide receiver D.K. Metcalf had 12 catches for 161 yards and two TDs in a win versus the 49ers in November 2020. He’s since had 16 receptions for 181 yards and a TD in four meetings.
