Eva Kriletich

Passed away peacefully in San Francisco, age 91. Beloved daughter of Fridrih Glassner and Tereza Radovan. She was pursuing a career in education in Dubrovnik when World War II interrupte­d her ability to complete her degree. She married Frank Kriletich in 1952 and celebrated 65 years of marriage. Their daughters Teresa and Lydia were born in Lumbarda. They immigrated to San Francisco in 1958 where their two sons Chris and Frank were born. Eva made her home in both San Francisco and Lumbarda traveling annually back and forth as recently as this year. There was nothing more important to her than her friends and family. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchild­ren who in turn all adored her. Eva touched so many lives as a gracious hostess, master chef, and baker. Everyone was always made to feel welcome in her home at any time of any day.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Josko, Vinko, and Ivo Glassner and grand-daughter Laura (Ross) Wagner. She is survived by her husband Frank Kriletich, sister Katica Milina, sisters in law, Zuva and Marija Glassner, and Frances Buratovich; daughters Teresa Kriletich Bruce and Lydia (John) Vidovich; sons Chris (Christy) Kriletich and Frank (Marianne Mills) Kriletich; grandchild­ren Christina (Troy) Choquette, Linda (Nick Yankee) Bruce, Teresa (Alex Arteaga) Vidovich, Kate (Aaron) Maxson, and Stephen Vidovich; and great grandchild­ren Marieva Wagner, Alejandro and Luka Arteaga, and Remy Choquette; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Private Services will be held. Committal, Lumbarda, Croatia.
