DIVISION 2 (FRIDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Granada-Livermore (9-4) vs. No. 1 Campolindo-Moraga

(9-4) at Dublin HS: Campolindo tries to become just the third school — joining De La Salle and Fort Bragg — to win four straight NCS titles. It’s won five overall. Granada has won one title, in 1995.

OPEN DIVISION (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Pittsburg (8-1) vs. No. 1 De La Salle-Concord (10-1) at Dublin HS: De La Salle has won 25 straight NCS titles and overall hasn’t lost to a Northern California opponent in 289 games (287-0-2). Its last loss to a NorCal team was to Pittsburg, 35-27, for the 1991 NCS 3A title. The Pirates have won 3 crowns: In 1980, 1985 and 1991.

DIVISION 1 (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Freedom-Oakley (9-2) vs. No. 1 Liberty-Brentwood (10-2)

at Heritage HS: Freedom quarterbac­k Joey Aguilar (2,413 passing yards, 27 touchdowns) was vying for the starting job at Liberty in the spring and early summer before transferri­ng to Freedom. Both teams seek their first NCS crown.

DIVISION 3 (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Cardinal Newman-Santa Rosa (10-2) vs. No. 1 Marin Catholic-Kentfield (11-0) at Rancho Cotate HS: Cardinal Newman goes after its 13th NCS title — to tie Ferndale for second most behind De La Salle (32) — while Marin Catholic goes for No. 11.

DIVISION 4 (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 7 Hercules (11-2) vs. No. 4 Fortuna (11-2) at McKinleyvi­lle HS: Fortuna has won just two NCS titles — 1978 and 2000 — while Hercules goes for its first championsh­ip.

DIVISION 5 (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Middletown (10-1) vs. No. 1 St. Patrick-St. Vincent-Vallejo (10-1) at Alhambra HS: Middletown is after its fourth NCS crown, but first since 2001. SPSV, the defending champion, also won in 2006.

Central Coast Section DIVISION 1 OPEN (FRIDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Salinas (10-2) vs. No. 1 Milpitas (12-0) at Independen­ce HS: Salinas is after its third title, but first since 2001. Milpitas has won three times: 2006, 2009 and 2013.

DIVISION 5 (FRIDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Menlo School-Atherton (8-4) vs. No. 1 Gilroy (12-0) at

Westmont HS: Menlo was runner-up in 2009 and 2012, but has never won a CCS crown. Gilroy is also looking for its first title after placing second in 2007.

DIVISION 2 OPEN (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 St. Francis (9-3) vs. No. 1 Serra (10-2) at Independen­ce HS: St. Francis is the king of CCS football with 16 titles, while defending champion Serra has won three of its four since 2011.

DIVISION 3 OPEN (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 7 Terra Nova-Pacifica (7-5) vs. No. 1 Half Moon Bay (12-0) at Sequoia HS: Terra Nova seeks its fifth title, while Half Moon Bay is after its third straight section crown and fourth overall.

DIVISION 4 (SATURDAY, 7 P.M.)

No. 2 Christophe­r-Gilroy (10-2) vs. No. 1 Leland-San Jose (11-1) at

Westmont HS: Leland won the very first CCS crown in 1972 and has won four overall — the last coming in 1999. Christophe­r seeks its first title.

San Francisco Section SATURDAY ( 1 P.M.) No. 2 Galileo (8-2) vs. No. 1 Mission (8-3) at Kezar Stadium:

Mission seeks its ninth title and third in four years. Before 2011, the Bears had gone 57 years without a championsh­ip. Galileo has won 17 titles, the last in 2013. The Lions won five crowns in the 80s and four more in the 90s.
