Sept. 18 TEMECULA Sunday Funday at Vail HQ

Sept. 19 MURRIETA Dog Tales
The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnership with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading-education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. The library is at 8 Town Square.
Sept. 19 TEMECULA Snap Circuit Lab
The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library will host a Snap Circuit Lab for teens looking to learn the basics of circuitry boards. The lab will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at the library, 30600 Pauba Road. Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, the program for student in grades 7 to 12 is limited to 12 participants. Sept. 20 TEMECULA Farmers market
The Vail Headquarters Certified Farmers Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays at 32115 Temecula Parkway. Vendors offer fresh produce, cut flowers, local honey, specialty foods and more, and there are activities for children. Information: https://www.vailhq.com/farmersmarket.
Sept. 24 TEMECULA Health and resource fair
The city of Temecula will hosts its 12th annual Health & Community Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Civic Center and Town Square, 41000 Main St. There will be more than 100 vendors on hand to provide free health screenings, and information on community resources, emergency preparedness, public safety and area nonprofits. Sept. 24 HEMET Cleanup Day
The city of Hemet and CR&R Inc. are hosting a free community cleanup event for city residents from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Hemet Public Library, 300 E. Latham Ave. Acceptable items include large items such as sofas, chairs, refrigerators and other household items, green waste and electronics. Sept. 25 TEMECULA F.I.T. Fun Color Run
The city of Temecula will host its annual F.I.T. Fun Color Run on Sunday, Sept. 25, at Ronald Reagan Sports Park, 30875 Rancho Vista Road. The event where participants get splashed with vibrant colors along the run route includes a 5k run for adults and youths 12 and older beginning at 8 a.m., a family fun run for all ages at 8:15 a.m., and a kids obstacle course for children ages 5 to 10 at 9:30 a.m. The entry fee for the fun runs is $15 per person; the entry fee for the obstacle course is $10. Participants will receive an event T-shirt, finisher medal, goodie bag and refreshments. Goodie bag pickup will be Sept. 24. Sept. 27 MURRIETA Coffee talks

Sept. 28 TEMECULA Morning Mixer
The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold its Morning Mixer at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Guiltless Food Co., 27725 Jefferson Ave., Suite 104. The event is free for chamber members, $30 for guests. Registration is required at https://members.temecula.org/events.
Oct. 1 LAKE ELSINORE Waste collection
The city of Lake Elsinore will hold its next household hazardous waste drop-off event for city residents from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at 512 N. Langstaff St., next to the Public Works Yard. Items accepted include automotive chemicals, batteries, electronics, household chemicals and cleaners and paint. Ongoing VALLEYWIDE Blood donations
Donations of blood and plasma are needed for patients throughout the region. Lifestream continues to host mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collections at its regular locations. The Murrieta donation center is at 40365 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, and is open seven days a week; hours vary. Information: www.lstream.org.
