SAN DIEGO, CA — On August 20, 2022, our beautiful Bridget passed away comfortabl­y at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in El Paso, Texas to Natividad Chavez and Rocco Passeri. She moved to San Diego, CA as a teenager and lived here for 60 years. She worked as a telephone operator and a preschool teacher for many years. Bridget was a huge fan of Elvis, The Beatles, dancing, and classic movies. She was known for her cooking such as enchiladas, sandwiches, homemade flour tortillas, and chile rellenos. Her potato salad was a hit at family gatherings. Her favorite hobbies were playing bingo and board games with her family. She is survived by her husband William and her children Robert (wife Jennifer), Gina (husband Son), Lisa, and Natty (husband Jaime). She had nine grandchild­ren Jennifer, April, Ariel, Robert II, Ryan, Mark, Jacob, Lily, and Jaime Jr. She also had two greatgrand­children Vincenzo and Landon and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son (Michael), sisters (Helen and Lucy) brother (Mike), son-in-law (Luther), niece (Joyce), and her parents. Bridget was known as a caring wife and mother who loved her family and worked hard to ensure their happiness and success. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Her family finds peace knowing she is now up in Heaven with her loved ones. Funeral service and burial are scheduled for 12pm on September 19, 2022, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, CA 92102. She will be laid to rest beside her son Michael.
