Married Richard Wentink March 17, 1951, at Asylum Hill Congregational Chapel, Hartford, Ct. and honeymooned on their way to Calif. Richard had a position at Convair waiting for him, and Ann soon worked as a nurse for Dr’s Ed and Thomas Mitchell in Pacific Beach.

Her Hospice co-workers remember, with a smile, how Ann would needle them for being late and for the Puppy Showers she gave when one of them adopted a new dog. Following Richards death in 2004 Ann met a special gentleman, Fred Koestner, and they shared many happy times together.

Ann loved animals, especially her dog Penney and any cat that showed up on her doorstep.
