THREE ARRESTED AFTER SHOOTING

-

Three people were arrested on suspicion of shooting at a Cortez Hill home early Saturday morning, according to San Diego police.

The Police Department received multiple 911 calls around 6 a.m. about gunshots fired near A Street and Ninth Avenue. Residents told police that three males left the scene in a silver car, possibly an SUV.

Officers spotted a car that fit that description and attempted to stop the vehicle. Instead, a roughly threeminute chase ensued, with those in the car tossing a couple of guns out the window while fleeing, according to Officer Tony Martinez.

Police finally stopped the vehicle at 36th Street and Logan Avenue. All three occupants were arrested on suspicion of shooting at an occupied dwelling. No one was injured in the incident.

No further details were released, including the arrestees’ names or ages.
