“The Truth About Cancer,” a documentary video series of nine episodes on treatment and diagnosis of cancer is open to all on Thursday evenings from July 7 through Sept. 1, 6 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library, Washington. The Youth Chorale needs at least 15 singers by Aug. 27. Registrations must be prepaid and mailed in — all fees paid will be held and returned if the minimum number of singers are not met. Hearthstone School’s Summer Camp (for ages 3-12) is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25-29 and Aug. 1-5 at the school. This camp includes storytelling, watercolor painting, beeswax sculpture, candlemaking, rhythmic movement and dance, water play, cooperative games, felting, basketry, beadwork, paper making, drumming, baking, art from nature and nature walks.
