OC Fair has plenty of activities for families, all ages to enjoy
Headed to the OC Fair this week with family or friends?
Here are some things to know about the activities, dates, hours and locations:
General information
• Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays through Sundays; and the fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays
• General admission is $12 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and $14 Fridays through Sundays; tickets are $7 every day for children 6-12 and seniors 60 and older.
• Tickets must be purchased ahead online at ocfair.com. Daily attendance is capped at 45,000 people and may sell out on popular days.
• Parking is $10
• Use Gate 1 on Fair Drive, which is the main gate, for Uber/Lyft/taxi drop-off and pickup
Things to do
• Out at the Fair on Sunday will feature a variety of themed, family friendly entertainment from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Hangar Stage, including the always popular Glam Show at 4 p.m.,
• Animal exhibits this week in the Livestock Area include miniature donkeys, Angora goats and breeding sheep.
• Frank Thurston, a fair favorite for more than 25 year, does an interactive magic show for kids a 1, 4 and 6 p.m. daily on the OC Promenade Stage.
• Enjoy the All-Alaskan Racing Pigs at various times in the Plaza Pacifica starting at 2 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 12:20 p.m. weekends. Seating is first come.
• Kids can explore, learn, have fun and take a break from the sun in the Explorium.
• The Tupua Polynesian Dance Group wows audiences the Samoan flaming fire knife dance and other traditional performances at throughout the evening daily at the Plaza Pacifica Stage.
• Learn about milking a cow at 2:15, 4:15 and 6:15 each day in the Millennium Barn and then wander around and enjoy the barnyard animals that live at the Centennial Farm.
• Burn off some of your fair calories with the OC Fair Fun Run 5K at 8 a.m. on Friday; visit ocfair.com for information on how to register.

• Thursday: The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band, at 8:15 p.m.
• Friday: No Duh, a No Doubt tribute band, at 8:15 p.m.
• Saturday: Journey Unauthorized, a Journey tribute band, at 8:15 p.m.
• Sunday: Flashback Heart Attack, a New Wave `80s show, at 8 p.m.

• Wednesday: Three Dog Night and The Grass Roots, at 7:30 p.m.
