Taylor selected for Miss California Teen USA Pageant
Monache graduate Aislin Taylor has been selected to represent Terra Bella as Miss Terra Bella Teen USA in the Miss California Teen USA Pageant.
The Miss Universe Organization stated her selection was based on her academic and professional interests, involvement in her community, her passion for the pursuit of excellence and her interest in empowering other young women.
Taylor said she began competing in pageants because they have given her the chance to share her voice. She has supported many non-profit organizations such as Operation Blankets of Love, ASPCA, NEDA and the National Organization of Women. Taylor will attend UC Riverside beginning the fall where she will major in environmental science and compete in cross country and track.
At this year’s Central Section Championship, Taylor earned a fifth place medal in the 3,200. She was also one of the Valley’s top runners in cross country.
Girlbossing Inc., as the California USA organization, will produce and conduct the state’s oldest and most celebrated pageants in September.
