Awarded a contract in the amount of $1,453,501 to MAC General Engineering for the project consisting of the rehabilitation of Orange Avenue from Main Street to Plano Street and Henderson Avenue from Newcomb Street to Patsy Street. Gave authorization to appropriate additional Local Transportation Funds in the amount of $105,944, and gave authorization to negotiate construction surveying services.
Accepted a project from DOD Construction, and authorized the filing of the Notice of Completion for the project consisting of the installation of a stamped concrete, curb ramps, parkway trees, nostalgic lights, and parkway trees along Garden Avenue from Main Street to Fig Street.
Gave approval to initiate negotiations with, and secure emergency weed abatement services with Joe Grijalva Landscaping, in an amount not to exceed $115 per hour with a minimum of one hour for disking and $38.50 per man hour with a minimum of two hours for handwork.
Renewed the Test Security Agreement with CPS HR consulting for the utilization of written examinations for use in the city’s recruitment process.
Approved licensee name change from SM Transit to Valley Paradigm Corporation in the Concession License Agreement for Murry Park Pool approved on March 20.
Approved a resolution to allow a 24-month extension of time for the Cottage Estates Subdivision Map for a proposed subdivision to be located at the Northwest corner of Westfield Avenue and Villa Street.
Approved a resolution amending the local guidelines for implementing the California Environmental Quality Act.
Approved a resolution supporting Senate Bill 5, a $4 billion bond on the June 2018 statewide ballot for parks, water, and climate and environmental programs.
Accepted the quarterly Portfolio Summary report reflecting the investment portfolio of the city as of March 31.
Accepted the interim financial status reports for the third fiscal quarter ended March 31.
Approved the continuance of the Declaration of Local Emergency.
