The Season 4 premiere episode “The New Hotness,” finds Owen (Rob Lowe), Tommy (Gina Torres) and the rest of the 126 being called into action to a county fair when a “derecho,” a band of rapidly moving severe thundersto­rms, hits Austin, causing hurricane- and tornado-force winds, heavy rains, flash floods and a wide path of destructio­n.

WEDNESDAY 8 p.m. on TCM Movie: The Blues Brothers

Rawhiiiide! Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi star as the blackclad brothers “on a mission from God” to put on the ultimate concert. Carrie Fisher and Cab Calloway also star in the film, airing as part of the channel’s spotlight on car chases.

THURSDAY 7:30 p.m. on TNT NBA Basketball

A rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals pits the Boston Celtics against the defending league champion Golden State Warriors. Then in the nightcap, it’s an interconfe­rence clash when the Phoenix Suns host the Brooklyn Nets.

Emmy winner Rami Malek (“Mr. Robot”) added an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a BAFTA honor to his mantle for his uncanny portrayal of Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury.
