Bus, vehicle colllision causes several injuries

Several people were injured when a vehicle headed the wrong way collided head-on with a Port Authority bus early Friday in the Northview Heights/Spring Hill section of Pittsburgh.

The crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. at Penfort and Essen streets, according to Allegheny County emergency officials.

Port Authority spokesman Adam Brandolph said a car crashed into a stopped bus. Port Authority police Sgt. Brian O’Malley said the vehicle was going the wrong way and hit the outbound Route 6 bus.

Five-year contracts for union members ran out June 30, 2015, and they’ve been working under the terms of contract extensions that ran out the same day this year.

Mr. Das is accused of uploading the photos between May and September under different usernames. Pittsburgh police said detectives traced the photos electronic­ally back to Mr. Das’ apartment. He denied ever seeing the photos and then requested an attorney, according to the complaint.

He is scheduled to appear for a preliminar­y hearing Nov. 22 in City Court.
