A friend of Ms. Ugoletti’s, Shannon Cleary, said Thursday that Ms. Ugoletti had a bright personalit­y that lit up the room.

“She was bubbly and friendly and couldn’t help but win your heart,” she said. “I’m not saying she didn’t make some bad judgment calls, she did, but she was a sweet kid. The family is devastated right now.”

Ms. Ugoletti was fired from Blush Gentleman’s Club in July after Pittsburgh police said she offered to have sex with two undercover police officers in exchange for $1,200. Officers said Ms. Ugoletti also offered to sell the men cocaine for $100, accordingt­o a criminal complaint.

She faced drug and prostituti­on charges and was scheduled to appear in court in September.

She and another woman were arrested in the sting. Both worked as part-time contractor­s for Blush, the club’s attorney, Jonathan Kamin, said in July.

Neither woman could reached for comment July.

A friend of Ms. Ugoletti’s said Thursday that she lived life to the fullest.

“She was a beautiful woman who did nothing but help people in need and put the biggest smiles on your face on the darkest days,” Ashley Brown said. “[She] helped me through a lot and will be missed and in my heart forever.” on be in
