Class A No. 4 Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic (8-3, 4-0) rallied from 10 points down in the final four minutes to notch a road win against No. 3 St. Joseph (7-3, 2-2), 52-50. Freshman Sam Breen led the Trojans with 27 points, 13 rebounds.

Sweeney takes over at Derry
Dereck Riggleman set a school-record with 51 points to lead host Mapletown (4-5, 1-1) to a 66-60 win against Geibel Catholic (1-8, 0-2) in Class A Section 2. With those points, his career total surpassed the 1,000-point mark to 1,018.
