Ticked off! @burning debris

-

I’m ticked off beyond being ticked off that another six month automobile insurance bill comes in, and for the third period in a row, another $100 increase. No tickets, no accidents, no new car, no reason! Jake, this is not being a “good neighbor.”

I’m so tired of jerk neighbors that burn debris all day when the weather finally gets nice enough to open windows. I don’t want to smell your smoke all day and night. Disrespectful, selfish jerks.

I’m ticked off at the car dealer on I-4 near Millenia Mall with the giant American flag that is ripped and tattered. The same is true for the car dealer on South Orange Blossom Trail near Sam’s in South Orlando for their string of smaller flags. How about cutting down on some TV commercials and show some respect to our flag? So disrespectful!

I too am ticked off at destroying more and more natural land to build things when there or are so many blighted properties. We should provide huge tax incentives and reduced or no impact fees for those who want to update an older shopping plaza and make it new again. We have a plethora of empty office buildings we don’t need to build new ones we need to make the old ones new again. Either by remodeling them or knocking them down and building new. The best way to accomplish this is through the financial benefits that could be provided by our government to developers for doing so.

I am ticked off at restaurants that say they are open until 9 p.m., but that the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. so that if you are not seated and have ordered by 8:30, you will not be served. Why can’t you adjust your hours of operation to 8:30? Why is that so hard?

The flip side

I want to thank the people at the imaging place where I got my mammogram. Checked in at 7 a.m. Appointment to be screened at 7:30 a.m. and on way home at 8 a.m. Everyone was so kind to help me around with my walker. Thank you very much!
