Universal Orlando has set the dates for Halloween Horror Nights’ 2023 edition, and singlenight tickets for the fright fest are on sale.

The event at Universal Studios theme park begins Sept. 1, the Friday before Labor Day, and runs 36 select evenings before ending on Oct. 31.

Single-night ticket prices vary with date, but go from $79.99 and as high as $119.99 on the three Saturdays before Halloween, which falls on a Tuesday this year. HHN will be held on Wednesdays through Sundays, plus Halloween night for the months of September and October.

Tickets are currently available online only.

Universal also is selling Halloween Horror Nights Express Passes (ranging from $109.99 to $199.99), as well as R.I.P. Tours (from $299.99) and tickets to Behind-the-Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour, featuring three or six of the event’s haunted houses (starting from $119.99).

Last year, there were 10 haunted houses and five scare zones in the after-hours extraticket event, and Universal indicates those numbers will stay the same for 2023.

The initial ticket prices in 2022 ranged in price from $73.99 to $104.99 for the record 43-night run.

In the fine print: HHN ticket prices will be higher when sold at the park’s front gate.

Multinight tickets, including passes in the Frequent Fear family, are not yet for sale. In 2022, they went on sale in July.

Universal announced the first haunted house for HHN 2023 before HHN 2022 ended. It will be based on “Chucky,” the TV series seen on USA and SYFY networks. A “Chucky” house was also planned for the HHN event at Universal Studios Hollywood park in California.
