Ticked off! @office sneezing

-

I’m ticked off that this column continually printed complaints about gas pumps being left blocked by patrons who go inside. The editors should at least have titled it “Inconvenience at the convenience stores” because no one really grasped that fact and understood that no printed receipt available at the pumps or having to prepay and settle up is a marketing strategy to get them inside the building to buy a drink, snack or alcohol products. Don’t follow the bouncing ball to sing the wrong tune. Just go down the street to a real gas station!

Even though I’m not a basketball fan, I’m ticked off at hearing how the Magic keep losing games. But fear not, I have a foolproof method for them that will guarantee they will never ever lose another game .... fold the team!

I’m ticked off at the lack of local TV coverage of the FPL conspiracy to manipulate state elections. Its a shame and shows bias in news coverage.

How many more people are going to have to die before we can get some flashing signs on North Pine Hill Road for pedestrian crossings? Today there are signs cars have knocked down and are in the grass at several locations along the road. I have tried calling the numbers I have for traffic and engineering but have been unable to reach anyone. Voicemails were left. No response.

I’m ticked off at all the robo calls I get all week long. I bought a call blocker online and now they are finally stopping. It’s fun pressing #2 from any cordless phone that automatically blocks the call and disconnects it. So bring it on you scammers!

I’m ticked off at my office co-workers who do not cover their mouth or nose when sneezing!

The flip side

Thanks to the kind lady in the truck who helped me stop traffic on County Road 419 to help a deer safely cross the road to get back home.
