TFA topped by national No. 1
The First Academy baseball team came to Clearwater on Wednesday looking to accomplish what no team has done over two seasons — win against national No. 1 Clearwater Calvary Christian.
The Royals went toe-to-toe with the Warriors (28-0) behind senior ace lefty
before eventually falling 4-1 against a Calvary team that has won a state-record 58 consecutive games.
The Warriors are ranked No. 1 in high school baseball in multiple national polls, including USA Today, Perfect Game, MaxPreps and Collegiate Baseball.
