ELKINS — Laverna Grace “Bobbie Dean” Henry,

age 92, of Elkins, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, in Fayettevil­le. She was born December 11, 1929, in McCurtain, Oklahoma, to George Davis and Linda Gill Goodwin. Bobbie was a cook in the Food Service Industry. She was a member of Brannon Mountain Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ray Henry; her son, Donald Wayne Henry; her sisters, Suzzie Mahall and Barbara Gean Davis; and her brothers, Buddy Ray Davis, James Edward Davis and Dennis Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Maddox of Elkins; a brother, Roger Davis of Hazel Valley; four grandchild­ren, Clint Brown (Denise), Kim Henry Alsafar (Camile), Rick Henry (Luci), Mary Celeste Jenkins (J.R.); her sisters, Betty Jean McCraw, Wanda Self, Vonda Davis Sue Ellen Burger, Anne Lee Henry, Patricia Mahall; her brothers, Raymond Goodwin, Ron Goodwin, George Davis; six great-grandchild­ren and five great- great- grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation service will be 5–7 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m ., Friday, at Moore’ s Chapel with burial to follow in Brannon Mountain Cemetery.
