ELKINS — Reba Marjorie Lawson-Stout-Hill, 92 of Elkins died on October 13, 2018 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born June 26, 1926 in Elkins, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arden and Belva Lawson; sisters, Marthel Hensley, Mildred Ray, Murrell Alderson and Murtha Jones; brothers, Floyd Lawson, Flavis Lawson and Forrest Lawson; Her first husband, J.R Stout; son, Johnny Stout; second husband, Voyd Hill and two great grandchild­ren.

Survivors include her son, Tom Stout and wife Lyudmyla; daughter in law, Judy Stout; her loving grandchild­ren, Ray Stout and wife Kristen, Coty Stout and wife Karla, Reana Patrick and life partner Danny Warford, Daniel Stout, Stan Bobovych and wife Michelle; eight great grandchild­ren and four great great grandchild­ren.

A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Richland Regular Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Gabbard officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Mt Olive Cemetery. LITTLE ROCK — Louise Emory Beavers, 87, of Little Rock passed away October 13, 2018 surrounded by her children who loved her dearly. She was born March 30, 1931, in Bismarck, Arkansas to the late Odis and Carrie Shuffield Emory. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Eugene Beavers and a sister, Marie Faulkner of Hot Springs.

She is survived by her children, Garry (Elizabeth) Beavers of Little Rock, Wanda (John) Strode of Jonesboro and Lori (Jay) Hale of Sherwood. She is also survived by granddaugh­ters, Carrie (Josh) Swinea of Desha and Emily Strode of Jonesboro; two great-granddaugh­ters, Emory Swinea and Hadden Swinea both of Desha; one sister, Mattie Sue Anthony of Arkadelphi­a.

Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501-224-8300) with Pastor Greg Kirksey officiatin­g. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Pallbearer­s are Josh Swinea, Lawrence Blackmon, Greg Dalton, Bob Anthony, Steve Mayfield and Terry Robertson.

PEA RIDGE — Herbert G. Henderson, 90, of Pea Ridge, died Friday at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e.

He was born February 18, 1928, in Barry County, Mo. the fifth child of seven born to Herman Gentry Henderson and Tona Pearl Moyer Henderson. He lived in Barry County until age 8 when his family moved to Waldron, Ark. He lived there until 1943 when his family moved to Pea Ridge. He graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1946 and enlisted into the Army Air Corps. After basic training and mechanic school he was stationed in Alaska. He was discharged in 1949 as a Sergeant, receiving the WWII Victory Medal. He returned to Pea Ridge where he worked at various jobs including two years at Pete’s 66 Station in Rogers in 1952. He moved to Tulsa and worked at Douglas Aircraft and then at American Airlines where he remained until retirement after 25 years. In 1955 he married his sweetheart Mary Jo Crabtree and enjoyed sixty three years of marriage. He enjoyed fishing, camping, flea markets, garage sales, mowing his yard, reading Zane Grey Western books, and classic cars. He was a long time member of the Tulsa Moose Lodge and The Oil Capitol Rod & Gun Club. He was a member of the Church of Christ and is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary, Lela and Bonnie; and three brothers, Wayne, Ralph and Robert.

Survivors are his wife Mary Jo Henderson of the home; a son, David Henderson and wife Jerri, a grandson, Gary Henderson and wife Sara, two great-grandchild­ren Emma and Tyler all of Tulsa; and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery with full military honors.

ROGERS — Evelyn Jane Bertschy Garnett, 90, of Kansas City and long-time resident of Rogers passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. She was born May 23, 1928 in Bentonvill­e as one of eleven children to the late Louis Samuel Bertschy and Narcissus Looney Bertschy. She was also preceded by her husband of more than 50 years, John S. Garnett and a son, John Larry Garnett.

Following graduation from high school as valedictor­ian and business college graduate, she lovingly devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of her family. She enjoyed gardening and was an accomplish­ed genealogis­t, tracing lineage back nearly 1,000 years, but most of all, loved the time shared with her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Garnett (Alice) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Jim Garnett (Lynn) of Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchild­ren; 10 great-grandchild­ren; numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, with Visitation beginning at 12 p.m. and her Funeral at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. SPRINGDALE — Shirley Ann Cordes, 81 of Springdale passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born October 26, 1936 in Harmon Community, Arkansas to George Pinkney and Nora Laffin Green.

She was a Bookkeeper at Cordes - Brown Toyota and Precision Marine in Springdale. She enjoyed bowling, participat­ing in many leagues for over 45 years. She loved camping, riding four-wheelers and enjoyed activities at the lake. She wrote many stories and was an avid reader. She loved to traveling around the country including Yellowston­e, Colorado, Nevada and many other states.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen Cordes; two brothers, Eulas Jack Green and George Pinkney Green, Jr.

Survivors include one son, Richard Cordes of Springdale; one daughter, Cheryl Vanzant and husband Stephen of Lowell; one brother, A.C. Green and wife Marolyn of Springdale; two grandchild­ren, Sara Whorton and Stephanie Vanzant; five great-grandchild­ren, Hanna, Halle, Lainey, Elyse and Tristyn.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Sonora Cemetery Pastor Clark Snow officiatin­g.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 am to 5 pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
