Critical violations are defined as items relating directly to factors that lead to food-borne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.
BENTON COUNTY June 25 The Crumpet
5212 Village Parkway, Suite 12, Rogers
Critical violations: The sanitizer concentration was not strong enough. Items were not properly cooled before being placed in cold holding. The twodoor cooler is not maintaining food temperatures of 41 degrees or below.
Noncritical violations: Food workers must wear hair restraints. The scoop for crab salad was being stored directly on the rack above the cooler. A washing machine and dryer are stored in a room with food, clean utensils and an ice machine.

An employee was using a spray bottle that was labeled as bleach, but the chemical did not test as bleach; some spray bottles were not labeled.
Noncritical violations: Thermometers are needed in all cold holding units. The chip scoop was stored on top of a hot holding unit. There is excessive grease build-up on the floors behind the fryers; the area under the three-compartment sink is not clean. The cove base is missing from under the handwashing sink in the server’s station; the floor in the bar needs repair. Several physical facilities need repair including: the handwashing sink in the kitchen, the freezer door, the server’s dressing cooler and the floors in the kitchen, bar and dish area. A light bulb in the cooler needs to be replaced. The posted permit was not visible to customer’s view; a person or persons must have a valid permit to operate a retail food establishment.
