Yasmene McDaniel was promoted to chief administra­tive officer of Sparks Health System. McDaniel has more than 15 years of health care experience, including associate vice president of program developmen­t and physician services at Jackson Health System in Miami and as vice president of physician services of Sparks Clinic since February 2017. She earned a master of business administra­tion and master of health care administra­tion from Texas Women’s University in Denton and a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Dr. Sharon Little recently joined Mercy Clinic Primary Care — Chaffee Crossing. The clinic opened in June 2017 at 7003 Chad Colley Blvd. in Barling. Little is board certified in family medicine and received her medical degree from Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathi­c Medicine.

Laura Pace, family nurse practition­er, recently joined Mercy Clinic Primary Care — Chaffee Crossing. The clinic opened in June 2017 at 7003 Chad Colley Blvd. in Barling. Pace received a bachelor of science in nursing from Arkansas Tech University and a master of science in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has more than seven years of experience in critical care units and is board certified as a nurse practition­er.
