BENTONVILLE — Byron
(Bus) Ray Broadbooks, 93, of Bentonville, Ark. died September 24, 2016. Service is set for 11 a.m.. Thursday, Sept. 29 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Bayless Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is set for 5-7, Wed., Sept. 28, at the funeral home.
FAYETTEVILLE —
Holly Katheleen Grisso,
of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, as a result of a car accident in Alma, Ark. She was born April 16, 1998 in Tulsa, Okla., to Gary Grisso and Debra Kay (Miller) Grisso.
She was a student at Pittsburg State University, an ice skater at The Jones Center in Springdale and an animal lover.
She is survived by her father of Pryor, Okla., and mother of Fayetteville, Ark.; her maternal grandmother, Josephine Miller of Bentonville, Ark.; and her aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 5:30 p.m. in The Jones Center Chapel.

FAYETTEVILLE — Robert Michael Nolen, 20, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on Sept. 24, 2016, at home. He was a former employee of Lowell Truck and Tractor, a 2014 graduate of Mountainburg High School, and a member of Community of Christ Church.
Robert was born Jan. 19, 1996, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Bill Nolen; grandmother, Darlene Balazic; and an aunt, Pam Leonard.
There will be a private family memorial. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his parents, Chris and Monica Nolen of Fayetteville; one brother, Taylor Nolen of Fayetteville; paternal grandmother, Shirley Nolen of Mountainburg; maternal grandfather, Mike Balazic and wife Becky of Van Buren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

SPRINGDALE — Herman C. Filbeck of Springdale, Ark., died Monday in Springdale. He was born Sept. 10, 1946, in Berryville, Ark., the son of Ernest Filbeck and Vinnie Smith Filbeck. He was self-employed as a painter, and served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include wife, Anita Filbeck of the home; sons, Ron Filbeck of Springdale, Randy Filbeck of Springdale; sister, Nettie Walden of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave., Springdale, Ark. 72762. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. STILWELL, Okla. — Sheryl Goad Smith, 48, died unexpectedly Sept. 24, 2016, in Stilwell, Okla., after years of battling severe brittle diabetes. She was born July 18, 1968, in Fayetteville, Ark., to John Goad and Glenda Jamerson Goad Everhart.
She graduated from Greenland High School. Sheryl was a member of Sang Avenue Baptist Church and was strong in her faith. Even though she became limited because of her health, Sheryl was a very social person with a giving heart and loved to be surrounded by her friends. Sheryl’s life was too short, but those who were touched by her understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Goad, and her stepfather, Richard Everhart.
She is survived by her mother of the home, Glenda Everhart; three sons, Tyler Smith, Trenton Smith and Trevor Smith, all of Fayetteville; two sisters, Teresa Goad Kolb and her husband, Denny Kolb of Fayetteville; and Jeanné Everhart of Fayetteville; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
