J.Lo’s mom gets a VIP ‘View’

JENNIFER Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe Rodriguez, is a superfan of “The View” and a regular VIP at the ABC show.

Rodriguez has appeared on the show with her famous pop singer daughter in the past — but Page Six has found out that Rodriguez regularly shows up on her own.

“She loves the show, and it’s not uncommon for her to appear in the audience,” a source told Page Six. One year, she even showed up with other Hollywood moms. She visits the ladies [the hosts of the show] in their dressing room. Everyone loves her. She’s the sweetest.”

We even spotted Rodriguez getting her “View” fix, and rocking one of Whoopi Goldberg’s signature holiday sweaters at a taping last week of Darlene Love’s annual holiday performance. (Goldberg has her own line of ugly Christmas sweaters.) Rodriguez was seen Thursday at the show chatting with Goldberg during a break in filming, as some stagehands changed the set. She also sat with Goldberg’s daughter.

Said a source: “Lupe comes every year for Whoopi’s birthday and the holiday show. She also attends every time J.Lo is on.” The source said that last year at the show, Rodriguez sat with Chris Rock’s mom and Holly Robinson Peete’s mom.

“The reason I love going to ‘The View’ is because from the minute I walk in the door — from the security guard, receptionist, to the crew to the amazing women on the panel — I feel like I am home with my family. They’re all loving, kind and the sweetest, most professional people I’ve ever met. I love them all dearly,” Rodriguez told Page Six.

Earlier this month, J.Lo posted an impressive video of Rodriguez doing a dance routine with Lopez onstage during her recent tour, as a tribute to her mom’s 74th birthday. Rodriguez seemed to have her daughter’s moves and lyrics down cold.

Lopez revealed on “The View” this year of her upcoming wedding to Alex Rodriguez, “We’re talking about different places that mean something to us, but we’ll see.”
